More shopping....

Well thanks to blog sites I have managed to grab some real bargains this weekend...I told you these sites we're addictive. I managed to buy some goodies ready for the Artsypaper challenge this week on The craft barn.

I'm really looking forward to this challenge I've not done anything like an art journal page since I left school (long long time ago ha ha)

I'm going to try and get some more crafting done this evening but it's back to work for me tomorrow...

Addictive!

I have come to the conclusion that blog sites are addictive! I have found myself logging on and off alllllll day my mind is spinnging with ideas and I need to finally log off and find my way to my craft room!...See you soon x

Crafting Challenge

I'm back....thanks to the Craft Barn

I do not even remember setting this account up if I'm perfectly truthful but whilst looking to purchase some new stamps I stumbled across the fantastic website of the craft barn and wanted to join their challenge and I needed a blog to do so, when I realised I needed a blog I found that hey presto I already had one that I can't remember opening...

The challenge...

So the challenge is to use a colouring technique which the Craft Barn have recently blogged about. I decided to go with the Paper-soft technique as I have never used mine!

Here is the link if you would like a go yourself... http://thecraftbarnblog.blogspot.ca/2012/08/colouring-technique-challenge.html

For the challenge I had a rummage around and found some film/photo cards that I've never used before. Using their white underneath I added yellow pastel to them and inserted a flower in the middle using a brad to secure them.

The paper I used was a grey and black design which I bought for my Birthday in February but could never decide what to use it for. I thought this would match perfectly with this design and using paper soft I changed the look and added it to this flowery yellow design.

Thanks for visiting my blog ;-)
